The patch is still quite a ways off. We started testing it internally this week and with our external pool of Visioneers, but we still have a variety of changes to make over the next couple weeks. I can say that there will be both fixes and additional maps included in the patch, but beyond that you'll have to hold off until we post the specifics about the patch and what it will include.

Yay new maps
The stalingrad map in the patch was great but neuville was rubbish(just my opinion) Lets hope nothing like Neuville. Is it going to be big open maps where we can use vehicles or enclosed and on foot like arnhem..Can you tell us that?

personally i dont see an imediate need for a patch. Theirs no crazy gameply problems like lets use BFV for an example where a fully automatic weapon was as accurate as a sniper rifle while parachuting from a helocopter. If all this patch involves is a few new maps some weapon tweaks and some other fun stuff then all i say is Take your time add as much as you want.

By the look of what he has typed, New Maps which we don't have biggrin.gif

Hope fully they/it won't be like Mp_Stalingrad, because i personally thought that was very bad considering the SP stalingrad missions..

But then i'm guessing GMI will be designing the map(s)

(not that IW are bad, because they're not wink.gif)

Hehehe. You haven't seen the Icculus list, I bet. CoD:UO servers use a TON of CPU. I bet they did some big changes and optimizations in the code, so they have to test it a bunch to make sure it all works right.

I would really love another Kharkov or Berlin style map, preferably Stalingrad redone or perhaps the final battle from saving private ryan (being done in The GermanFront but, I dunno when thats supposed to be coming out tongue.gif). wub.gif

I want 50 new maps, half old-style cod, and half UO type maps........oh and the pacific theater thingy too laugh.gif

As quickly as GMI put together enormous maps for UO, I bet they could do 10 harbor style maps in 30 days, lol.

Or an African Campaign map, like BF '42 Aberdeen, with 30 tanks .. Oh, and lag-free!
